2010 MISSION 500 HUMANITARIAN AWARD WINNER - ALAN FORMAN
At ISC West 2010 on March 25, Mission presented its first “Mission 500 Humanitarian award” to Alan Forman at a special cocktail reception.The purpose of this annual award is to honor individuals in the security industry who make important contributions on a humanitarian level. As the first recipient of this award, Alan Forman of Altronix is well worthy of the honor having been involved with several charitable organizations, serving on the advisory boards of Gift of Life International, Technion Research and Development Foundation, and Mission 500. In 2005, he was inducted into the Security Sales & Integration Hall of Fame and was the recipient of the 2009 George Lippert Memorial award.ìIn terms of giving of his time, talent and treasures, Alan has given of himself in a number of charitable causes he is involved in by committing his time, rallying other people to get involved, making financial contributions and making everyone around him feel special,î said Mission 500 volunteer George Fletcher.Each year a list of nominees will be considered by Mission 500 Advisory council - anyone interested in nominating someone from the industry for 2011 should contact George Fletcher at pr@mission500.org
